Faith in the Bible is closer to “trust” than “blind guess.” It’s the kind of trust you place in a person based on reasons and experience, even without total, mathematical certainty — similar to trusting a close friend or a doctor you’ve come to know.
Christian faith involves both believing certain things are true (that Jesus rose from the dead, for example) and personally relying on Jesus, the way you might rely on someone rather than just agreeing they exist. Doubt and questions are common companions to faith, not automatically its opposite.
